Millions of people follow an unhealthy lifestyle. Hence, they encounter illness, disability and even death. An unhealthy lifestyle often causes problems like metabolic diseases, joint and skeletal. Lifestyle diseases are diseases mostly caused by the way people live, and these diseases are non-communicable.

Lack of physical activity, unhealthy eating, alcohol, substance use disorders and smoking tobacco, which cause heart condition, stroke, obesity, type II diabetes and carcinoma commonly caused lifestyle diseases. The diseases that appear to extend in frequency as countries become more industrialized and other people live longer can include Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, atherosclerosis, asthma, cancer, chronic disease or cirrhosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, type 2 diabetes, heart condition, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, chronic renal failure, osteoporosis, PCOD, stroke, depression, obesity and vascular dementia.

Lifestyle features a significant influence on the physical and psychological state of a person there are different forms of such influences. Due to lack of lifestyle, this may also lead to genetic disorders. The reformation of this unhealthy lifestyle may be a preventing factor for decreasing the speed of genetic diseases.

Factors Affecting Lifestyle

Proper Diet And Body Mass Index

Diet is that the greatest thing about lifestyle and features a direct and positive relation with health. Poor diet and its consequences like obesity is that the common healthy problem in urban societies. Unhealthy lifestyle are also often measured by BMI. Urban lifestyle results in the nutrition problems such as fast foods and poor foods, increasing such problems like cardiovascular.

Proper Sleep

One of the bases of healthy life is that sleep. Sleep can’t be aside from life. Poor sleep has several social, mental, financial, and health implications. Lifestyle may affect sleep and sleep features a clear influence on mental and physical health

Substance Abuse

Addiction is taken into account as an unhealthy lifestyle. Smoking and using other substance may even end in various problems; disorder, asthma, cancer, brain injury etc. consistent with the proper studies, in Iran, 43% of females and 64% of males experience the utilization of hubble-bubble. A longitudinal study shows that 30% of individuals between 18–65 years old smoke cigarette permanently.

Medication Abuse

It’s a standard sort of medication in Iran and it’s considered as an unhealthy lifestyle. Unhealthy behaviours in using medication are as followed- self-treatment, sharing medication, using medications without prescription, prescribing too many drugs, prescribing the massive number of every drug, unnecessary drugs, bad handwriting in prescription, this regard to the contradictory drugs, disregard to harmful effects of medicine, not explaining the consequences of the medicine.

Application Of Latest Technology

Advanced technology facilitates the lifetime of citizenry. Misuse of technology may end in unpleasant consequences. For instance, the use of computers and other devices up to midnight may affect the pattern of sleep and it’s going to disturb sleep. Addiction to using mobile phones is said to cause depression symptoms.

Recreation

Leisure pass time may be a sub factor of lifestyle. Neglecting leisure can bring negative consequences. People’s well-being is adversely affected by chaotic activity and unhealthy recreation.

Proper Study

The study is the exercise of the soul. Placing study as an element in lifestyle may cause more physical and psychological state. for instance, the prevalence of dementia, like Alzheimer’s disease is lower in educated people. The study could slow the process of dementia.

Conclusion

With a glance at existing studies in the health domain, seven key factors are often suggested for a healthy lifestyle. About each factor, the systematic planning in micro and macro level are often established. It can also provide a social and individual healthy lifestyle.
